The Freezer 13 Pro offers a surprisingly impressive performance in this price range. A special highlight of the cooler is the small PWM fan directly above the copper plate, which cools the Northbridge and voltage regulators quietly and efficiently. The Freezer 13 Pro is certainly a very good showcase of  Arctic. The cooler has a solid design that can cool any CPU overclocked. The additional small fan cools the voltage regulators and is a beneficial feature of the cooler. Overall the performance of Freezer 13 Pro is good for an adequate price. 
 

The low priced cooler in our test was Freezer 13 Pro by the Swiss manufacturer Arctic. In two points, the cooler is different from the other participants: Firstly, the thermal compound is already applied and, second, the Freezer 13 Prois equipped with a second, smaller fan. The Freezer 13 dissipate the heat of our 125-watt processor without any problems. The assembly of the Freezer 13 was the fastest  compared to the other coolers in our test.  

The Freezer 13 Pro beat the stock cooler by 18°C at load with only 1150 RPM in compare with stock cooler at 2000RPM in OC 4.14 GHz test. The cooler surprised me in terms of cooling performance vs price ratio and it managed to be close to bigger and noisier competition.

Freezer 13 Pro is a very good product and it obtains satisfying results in our test. The well-designed structure, very easy installation, sturdiness and the cross-blow technology with a 50mm fan located on the top of the base contributed the great result.

Thanks to its two-fans design, the performance of Freezer 13 Pro has just few degrees difference from the overclocked high-end cooler, but the price difference among them is huge! More than that, the cooler can work with both AMD and Intel platforms at dramatically low noise level.

This was the first time I have used a cooler from ARCTIC COOLING. I will say that the overall experience was good. The cooler is solidly built and was very easy to install. The Freezer 13 PRO does a good job at maintaining average temperatures in our testing inaudibly. The mounting is super simple and holds the cooler in place securely if installed properly. If you have any issues, a quick glance at the instructions should solve any issues you might be having. The addition of the 50mm Cross Blow fan will add a bit of airflow around the CPU to other components, and the black and white on an aluminum body makes an attractive solution to replace your stock cooler.
