Very satisfactory performance, in IDLE it's 8 degrees cooler and when fully load it makes 10 degrees differences. It is suprisingly quieter than the default cooler. This Accelero Xtreme 7970 supports the latest Radeon HD 7970, and also compatible with wide range of mid-range models. With three 92mm fan and five 6mm heatpipes, can successfully transfer core temperature to the 84 fins. It also operates really silent as the changable fan speed. This cooler can gives around 5-25 degrees differences, and what suprisingly is the noise level between normal operation and 70% is similar, therefore we can use it with high fan speed yet keeping the noise level, however it greatly reduces the temperature from 82 to 48 degree celcius.

A monster of a cooler with three fans, which knows how to cool quietly but also effectively. Installation is easy and has no problem at all. While the reference cooling system keeps the temprature at around 65 degrees underload with loud noise, AX7970 gave a value of 55 degress but also work absolutely silent.

Accelero Xtreme 7970 is incredibly powerful and, despite using three fans it is very quiet. 7970 lowered the temparature by 16 degrees from stock cooler, very impressive.
