The overall build quality of Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is good, considering the cooler's price range. The cooler came with pre-applied thermal paste which works fine if you are not overdemanding. It was easy to install and its size is smaller than other aftermarket coolers. Costing around 25 Euros, you should consider replacing your stock cooler with this cooler.

Overall, we are very pleased with the cooling performance with the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2. It does an awesome job to keep the 3.3GHz CPU at around 41 degree celsius. Even we add more workload on the CPU, the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 can still efficiently cool it down.

The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is able to perform far beyond to the stock cooler in terms of cooling performance and noise level. With its unique design, it fits most of the pc case without any problems. I highly recommend the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 to anyone concerning high cooling performance while maintaining whisper quiet at the same time.

The ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro (Rev. 2) performed very well in our tests for a cooler at this price point and it certainly does make a strong upgrade option when compared to the Intel reference cooler.  It will be perfect for users who want a little extra performance out of their system with a mild overclock or for users wanting a cooler running processor.

Im Großen und Ganzen konnte uns der Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 LP wirklich überzeugen. Gerade in Sachen Qualität und Verarbeitung zeigt Hersteller Arctic Cooling wieder, wie es sein soll. Auch die Kühlergebnisse des Freezer 64 LP können sich wirklich sehen lassen. Gerade wenn man die niedrige Bauhöhe bedengt, ist die erbrachte Leistung schon sensationell.

Closed to zero noise operation: When each cooler is operating, the noise is even lower than the noise of hard disk and PSU. It lets the whole PC nearly operating in zero noise.

There is no doubt that the Freezer 7 Pro is o­ne of the best coolers for LGA 775 processors. It may not be a universal heatsink, but it definitely delivers when it comes to doing it's job, rather than being a jack of all trades and master of none. The Freezer 7 Pro ticks all the right boxes. No other heatsink offers such a combination of performance, silence and ease of installation. And if that wasn't enough, did we mention the price tag of less than 13 quid? This has got to be o­ne of the best bargains o­n the market, so no o­ne has a valid excuse for not to buy o­ne. When we review stuff, we usually find a flaw or two in even the best designed products. However, it appears that Arctic Cooling have done their homework - The Freezer 7 Pro is perfect in every aspect be it performance or price, and for that, we award it 10 out of 10.

Gutes noch besser machen, ist sehr oft ein wahrer Drahtseilakt, zum einen Gilt es die Vorteile der alten Serie zu übernehmen, mögliche Schwachpunkte auszumerzen und neue Akzente zu setzen, was unserer Meinung nach Arctic sehr gut gelungen ist. Wie schon die Vorgänger überzeugt auch die Freezer Pro Serie mit guten Kühleigenschaften und einer besonders einfachen Montage. Sehr lobenswert ist ebenfalls, dass Arctic Cooling den Preis der Lüfter stabil halten konnte. Im Handel ist der Freezer 64 Pro für umgerechnet 20 Euro und der Freezer 7 Pro für ca. 24 Euro erhältlich. Auf einen Punkt gebracht: Gute Kühlung muss nicht teuer sein.

Lüfter und Rahmen des Arctic Freezer 7 Pro stellen eine Besonderheit dar. Über eine zweiaxiale Gummiaufhängung ist der Motor des Lüfter mit dem Rahmen verbunden. Somit sollen Vibrationen vermieden werden. Die Installation des Kühler bereitete keine großen Schwierigkeiten. Ähnlich wie der Original Boxed Kühler von Intel lässt sich der Freezer 7 Pro über vier Installationspunkte auf dem Mainboard fixieren. Eine andere Positionierung machte sich direkt mit 1-3 Grad schlechteren Ergebnissen bemerkbar. Betrachtet man sich die Kühlergebnisse aus folgender Tabelle, kann sich der Arctic Freezer 7 Pro im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz sehen lassen. Die Abwärme wird u.a. dank des leisen Lüfter gut abtransportiert. Auch die Verarbeitung und die Einfachheit der Montage sprechen für den Kühler. Zudem macht ihn der günstiger Preis von knapp 20,- Euro noch viel interessanter. Deswegen gibt es von uns den Preis-/Leistungsaward!

Der Freezer 64 Pro hat auf jeden Fall auch uns nicht enttäuscht: Der 80 mm Lüfter mit 2300 U/Min ist sehr leise. Das hat man der speziellen Lüfterfertigung bei Arctic Cooling zu verdanken. Die Montage war sehr einfach. Bzgl. Kompatibilität hat alles gut gepasst, da der Kühler keine Übergröße hatte. Kleinere Details in der Optik und Verarbeitung wurden aber gut eingebunden. Besonders positiv ist die gedämpfte Befestigung des Lüfters. Die Kühlleistung war sehr gut, was von 80 mm Lüfter nicht immer der Fall ist. Der Kühler kann es locker mit 120 mm Modellen aufnehmen und auch zum Overclocking einsetzbar. Vom Preis her ist der Lüfter günstig und trotzdem gut. Na gut, das Ziel haben sich ja viele Hersteller gesetzt, nur haben es nicht alle erreicht. Den Freezer 64 Pro kann man um rund 28,- Euro kaufen, was für die Kühlleistung sehr wenig ist. Vergleichbare Kühler mit selber Leistung kosten oft 30,- Euro mehr.
