ARCTIC Breeze

We tested the ARCTIC Breeze and were pleasantly surprised by the almost imperceptible noise level, and great airflow which is adjustable with a turn of a knob.

ARCTIC has created one of the best USB accessories and they have done it with the Arctic Breeze.

After using the Breeze for about a week at my desk I can definitely say that this has kept me much cooler, and hardly produced any noise on high speed.

The Arctic Breeze provides a USB cooling solution with great build quality and quiet airflow for a reasonable price.

Compared to the Thermaltake Mobile Fan 12, another USB fan, the price of Breeze is more than reasonable.

If you work around computers, have a power hungry computer, a stuffy room or just want to keep cool for when hot weather might arrive then the Arctic Breeze USB desktop fan is an awesome buy.

I'd also like to thank Arctic for keeping me nice and cool whilst my HD 6990 chucked endless waves of heat into my face during other testing, as anyone with that card will know how hot it can make your whole computer environment.

I found it is not intrusive at all, you can easily watch video clips, listen to music, play games and even talk over Skype without even noticing the fan is on.

At a distance of about 55cm and at low RPM, the ARCTIC Breeze generates a good airflow and it really does its job. This is especially useful during long period of time sitting in front of the computer.

You can switch modes by the 3-way selector at the bottom: maximum, off, minimum. As a result, you can get a soft breeze or a decent hurricane according to your preference.

The Arctic Cooling Breeze is not the type of product we usually review, but it does use your PC and is intended to be placed o­n your desktop. Arctic Cooling is known for their quiet products, and the Breeze is no exception. It works as it should, as the sole purpose consists of cooling you and your surroundings. The two settings work flawlessly and the fan is incredibly quiet even when running at 100%. It would be great to see larger 120 or 135 mm versions in the future, as the next summer and global warming are a certainty. At the given price, the Breeze is a very nice little gadget with a purpose.

Der Arctic Breeze weist insgesamt eine Qualität auf, die man bei Arctic Cooling auch von anderen Produkten her kennt. Der Lüfter steht stabil und sorgt ordentlich für Abkühlung, sollte der Sommer uns auch hierzulande den ein oder anderen heißen Sommertag bescheren.

Der Arctic Breeze sorgt je nach Einstellung für einen schönen Luftzug, der zumindest subjektiv für etwas Abkühlung sorgen kann. Zudem sieht der USB-Fan schick aus und integriert sich aufgrund seines modernen Designs ideal in das Gesamtbild neben dem Monitor. Der Anschluss per USB ist sehr komfortabel, da keine externe Stromquelle hinzugezogen werden muss.
