The ARCTIC NC is one of the best notebook cooler on the market. I have tested a few in the past and none could match the performance and refinement of this cooler. We would say that if you have a notebook with a very hot running underside chassis, then this will certainly reduce the temperature and possibly increase the lifespan of the components.

While ARCTIC NC is running at full power, my laptop was much, much quieter overall because the overall operation stayed cooler and prevented the internal fans from kicking in high gear.
