There haven't been very many products in the market that has truly fired me up and got me as excited as the MC001-BD. Many companies have tried to make HTPC that are compact and quiet but I usually find that I can do better for less. The MC001-BD is probably the first where I wouldn't be able to do that.

The MC001 looks really elegant with the combination of two different colors. The passive cooling feature is definitely a major advantage in the HTPC market. The performance level is quite surprised, especially because of decent results using Atom. Together with several options to choose from, it really able to reach different target market.

ARCTIC realizes its idea of complete silence in the MC001-BD, a product that tries to fit in with the HTPC crowd. The video playback capabilities of AMD's Mobility Radeon HD 5430 and the included Blu-ray drive let the MC001-BD shine in its target segment: the home theater.
