Project Software Engineer

 

To accompany the development of ARCTIC in the consumer Electronics market, you are in charge of the software development for our Digital Home department. Your duties cover the specification of the programs and apps, the supplier selection when required, the development and coding of the program and the synchronization of the different actors to reach the software release in time. You are also responsible of the debugging part and beta testing. Further you support the customer service department.

You will report to the Consumer Electronics Director as well as to the different product managers. You will work in autonomy and have to be an organized people with the capability of abstract thinking and providing clear and concise reportings.

You have at least 5 years experience in software development with at least 2 years in a position where you lead a project. You have a deep knowledge of the different PC platform (Windows and Linux) as well as mobile devices App development (iOS and Android). You have genuine interest in home entertainment and are eager to learn more. Ideally, you have already been exposed to some of the following technologies : DLNA streaming, Video decoding, Socket programming, Windows imaging and deployment, …

You have an understanding of the product and a deep sense of analysis. You are strong in working out propositions and come with an innovative mind. You see the opportunity in every difficulty. A "no" is not an answer for you and you are willing to turn the world upside down until a solution is found.
