Für bislang unerreichbare VRM und RAM-Kühlleistungen hat ARCTIC einen Back-Side-Kühler entwickelt und patentieren lassen. Dieser ermöglicht eine effiziente Kühlung für RAM und Spannungsregler, was nicht nur eine höhere Taktrate ermöglicht, aber vor allem die Lebensdauer der Grafikkarte verlängert.
Installation ohne Wärmeleitkleber
Bislang war die mühevolle Anbringung verschiedener Kühlelemente mithilfe eines Wärmeleitklebers notwendig. Dies ist dank der innovativen Back-Side-Platte nicht mehr nötig. Ganz ohne Kleber kann die Grafikkarte problem- und rückstandslos in den Originalzustand zurückversetzt werden.
Nahezu geräuschlos
Die Kombination aus Silent-Lüfterrad und patentierter Lüfteraufhängung lässt den Accelero Twin Turbo III praktisch unhörbar arbeiten- selbst bei voller Drehzahl. Dank der PWM-Steuerung wird die Drehzahl des Lüfters der CPU-Temperatur entsprechend angepasst, so dass sich die Lautstärke auf ein absolutes Minimum reduziert.

Der Accelero Twin Turbo III lässt sich vielseitig und problemlos installieren und ist mit einer Vielzahl von Grafikkarten kompatibel.
Neue Lüftersteuerung
Eine verbesserte Lüftersteuerung und der Einsatz von zusätzlichen Filtern sorgen für einen störungsfreien Betrieb sowohl mit NVIDIA wie auch AMD Grafikkarten. Accelero Xtreme Twin Turbo III is compatible only with the graphics card using a standard size PCB with a width of 98mm. Graphics cards with different dimensions will not be compatible with this cooler. This includes:
-Low profile Graphics card
-Graphics cards with extended PCB (such as : ASUS DirectCU II R9 290, GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5)

FAQ

Compatibility with AMD R9 285, 280(X), 7970 and 7950

The Accelero Twin Turbo III is compatible to the above mentioned boards if the GPU was manufactured after February 2013. Please put a ruler on top of the GPU and check whether there is a gap between the ruler and the GPU. If there is a gap, the GPU was manufactured before February 2013. In this case please use the Accelero Xtreme IV 280(X).

Note: Please assure that the pin assignment is identical to the cooler on your graphics card. We have this far no knowledge of any graphics card manufacturer not following this standard. If it should still be the case, you can with help of a needle remove the pins from the plug and rearrange them.

How to use the 4-pin adapter?

Under what conditions do you need a 4-pin adapter?

Your graphics card

1. is using a non-standard cooler socket (e.g. 5-pin, flipped polarity) or
2. is using a passive cooler as the stock cooler

How to connect the 4-pin adapter?

The differences between 7V and 12V socket*

7V: Moderate fan speed. It gives the best balance between cooling performance and noise level. It is recommended for normal usage.
12V: Full fan speed depending on the fan design. It gives the best cooling performance and it is recommended for high duty usage.

*The fan speed is fixed regardless of the GPU's condition.

Steps

1. Ensure your PSU has spare power source and plug in the 4-pin adapter.

2. Connect your ARCTIC graphics card cooler's power plug to the preferred socket.

Please note: Make sure the connector is plugged into the corresponding socket (i.e. A 3-pin plug should be connected to a 3-pin socket and a 4-pin plug should be connected to a 4-pin socket). If the plug is connected to the wrong socket, the motor will burn immediately due to incorrect polarity.

How to Set the fan control curve by software?

Nvidia and AMD graphics cards come with a fan speed controller, which is not necessarily programmed according to your preference and focuses on holding the GPU temperature between 85 and 95°C.

Please download and install the fan controller software Precision X (www.arctic.ac/precisionx)

1) Please activate "Start Up" and click on the button "Fan Curve"

2) Create a fan control curve by putting control points.

Be aware that Nvidia's fan controller does no longer work with PWM values but fixed fan speeds. Thus 30%~1050 RPM, 40%~1400 RPM, 50%~1900 RPM, 60%~2400 RPM; no matter whether you use a 40mm fan which can do 10,000 RPM max or a 140mm fan which can go only up to 1400 RPM. In the later case the fan runs at the 40% setting already at full speed.

AMD: 20%/50°C, 30%/55°C, 40%/60°C, 50%/62°C, 60%/64°C, 70%/68°C, 80%/70°C, 100%/75°C
Nvidia: 20%/2°C, 20%/50°C, 30%/60°C, 40%/65°C, 50%/70°C, 60%/75°C, 100%/85°C, 100%/90°C
