Warranty Conditions (Germany)

govern your rights as a consumer with regard to Arctic if there are material or manufacturing defects in your Arctic product. Below you will find information on the duration and scope of the warranty and how to make claims under the warranty.

This warranty does not affect your legal rights or contractual warranty rights regarding the respective seller of your Arctic product. If your product is defective upon delivery, you are entitled to the legal warranty rights against your respective seller for subsequent performance, withdrawal or reduction in the purchase price, as well as damages without limitation, regardless of whether the warranty claim occurs according to these conditions and regardless of whether the warranty is claimed or not.


I. Start and duration of the warranty (warranty period)
The warranty period for your Arctic product can be found on the online shop’s product page. In any case, the warranty starts when the product is delivered to you.


II. Content and scope of the warranty
In accordance with these warranty conditions, Arctic guarantees that the Arctic product delivered to you will be free of defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period. 


If there are any defects in materials or workmanship in your Arctic product during the warranty period, Arctic will remedy these defects at its own expense by repairing or supplying new or refurbished parts. Arctic has the right to choose the means of remedying the defect. In individual cases, due to the constantly advancing technology, the repair or replacement of the product may result in disproportionate costs for Arctic. In this case, Arctic is entitled to refund the fair value of the product instead of repairing or replacing it. Arctic will calculate the fair value by taking into account the objective nature of the product. The fair value will be at least the amount of the purchase price, less 10% at the end of each year after delivery. For example, at the end of the third year after delivery, the fair value will be at least the amount of the purchase price, less 30%. 


Claims shall only exist under this warranty if the defect in materials or workmanship was not caused by use which deviates from Arctic’s normal requirements and specifications (according to the instructions for use), the product shows no indications of repairs or other interventions by workshops or persons not authorized by Arctic, and only accessories authorized by Arctic have been installed in the product.

If the defect is due to faults which were already known to you at the time of purchase, this warranty shall not apply to this defect.

You must credit any services provided by the seller under the warranty for the same defect in material or workmanship against this warranty.

If repairs are made to your Arctic product under this warranty, loan devices or equipment will not be provided while repairs are being made and any costs for replacement devices or equipment will not be covered.

This warranty applies to any subsequent owner of the product to the extent and under the conditions stated above (including the submission of proof of purchase in the event of resale).

Services performed under the warranty service do not restart the warranty period.


III. Claiming the warranty
To claim the warranty for defects in materials or workmanship that have arisen during the warranty period, please contact Arctic Customer Service. Customer Service will provide you with further information on how to process the warranty claim.

Arctic can only grant claims under this warranty if you send the product along with the original receipt/original proof of purchase showing the date of purchase and the seller to the location specified by Customer Service (for example, to a repair center). The product must be properly packaged to avoid damage during shipping.


You are responsible for the cost of returning the device and Arctic will pay for the cost of sending the repaired or replaced device to you.


Arctic is not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
