"It's cooling ability was just as impressive"
It's cooling ability was just as impressive - the Accelero Twin Turbo 690 managed to knock a massive 19° C off the stock cooler, coming in with a delta T of 35 C - an amazing result. The cooler is inaudible, even with the graphics card under load.
Who hopes for a slightly higher overclocking potential, should look more detail at the alternative cooler.
ARCTIC provides an excellent Accelero model which is specially tailored. The cooler has a very good performance and cools the graphics card even under continuous load better than the reference design. However, those who appreciate more a... [more]

The 'games benchmark' shows that the two graphics chips did not go beyond 55 degrees Celsius. Even at full capacity, it kept its noise level below 35 dBA (at 50 cm distance). A superior Accelero model.
Twin Turbo 690 has a positive bearing on noise emissions, dropping to almost inaudible levels when gaming (32dBA). There is a substantial improvement after installing the Twin Turbo. Load temperatures when gaming drop from 74c to 61c, a... [more]
